1. HLLQP LICENSE
  • HLLQP Licensing has 4 modules- Ethics, Life Insurance, Accident & Sickness and Segregated Funds & Annuities.
  • Getting licensed is a 2 step process.
  • Step 1 is completing the HLLQP certification course. 
  • Step 2 is writing the provincial exam after completing the HLLQP certification course.

Details:
  • MODULES: Includes 4 modules- Ethics, Life Insurance, Accident & Sickness and Segregated Funds & Annuities.
  • ATTEMPTS: You have 3 free attempts to pass each module.
  • NUMBER OF QUESTIONS: 20 in ethics and 30 each in other 3 modules.
  • PASSING MARKS: 60%
  • EXAM TYPE: Open book online exam will have Multiple choice type questions.
  • You can book your provincial exams before or upon passing all 4 certifications.
  • NOTE: A 7-day gap is must between the date when you passed your last certification and the day of your provincial exam. 




2. CIPR NumberThe Canadian Insurance Participant Registry (CIPR) provides a single, secure, self-serve service where regulated parties can maintain and control access to their personal information. Link:  https://www.cipr.ca/registration/startNOTE:
  • CIPR number must be created and updated on HLLQP account (in My Profile section) within 5 days of registering on HLLQP.
  • CIPR number is necessary for registering for the provincial exam.


3. HLLQP Provincial ExamsLINK FOR ONTARIO ONLY:Website: https://ssbp.mycampus.ca/  or  (Search: Corporate training services: Durham College) Step 1: Schedule- Check the schedule & choose an available desirable date.
Step 2: Registration- Registering for the exam based on the available dates
Exam Details:Exam type: Open book exam on paper.Filling in the details for registration:
  • Note: Keep CIPR number and credit card details handy. (You can find your 6-digit CIPR number in your HLLQP account à My Profile)
  • Course provider- Oliver learning
  • License type- Full life
  • Select exam location, dates & desirable sequence of modules.
  • You can write all the 4 modules on same day or choose to write them separately.

Exam Results:
  • HLLQP test results are declared on email within one week after writing the test.
  • The email is necessary for further steps of License registration.


4. ETHICS COMPLIANCE COURSE
  • Canadian Ethics course for Life Insurance agents is mandatory for all agents.
  • The course is available on hllqp.com by Olivers.
NOTE: For upcoming advisors, to enroll in the course for free, you must complete it before registering your license. Completing this course after license registration will be charged 79$ by HLLQP.x
